Major development on psignifit has stopped, but the last year's changes have been
integrated and released as a new version, 2.5.6. The major changes are a workaround for the highly popular
Matlab R14 incompatibility, and a new (somewhat experimental) LAMBDA_EQUALS_GAMMA fitting constraint.

March 1, 2004:
Compiled mex file for MacOS X posted on download page (compiled
and tested under Matlab 6.5.1 for OSX). Thanks to Jacob Duijnhouwer.

September 10, 2002:
Minor update to version 2.5.41, to make the toolboxes portable to the new Matlab release R13
(version 6.5). A few other minor tweaks. Only the Matlab m-files have changed.

Released pfcmp, an extension to the psignifit toolbox for Matlab 5.2 and up.
This is an m-file designed to compare psychometric functions across two experimental conditions,
using Monte Carlo simulations carried out by the psignifit engine. See the

now available online. It contains further details of the methods
we describe in the P & P papers, and many new results bearing
